Happy Holidays in Paris

The Champs-Élysées Christmas market opens its doors from 11th November. Enjoy unique moments among fairy lights, wooden chalets and decorations or take a turn on the ice rink during your stay at the Compagnie Hotelière de Bagatelle hotels.

A visit to the land of Santa Claus

What better way to prepare for the holiday season than a visit to a magical place? You can explore the market and its 180 chalets until 8th January and you’ll be filled with wonder when you stop to gaze at the illuminations that add a touch of sparkle to the welcoming atmosphere. You’ll also find Christmas decorations on the stalls in front of the little chalets and lovers of the finer things in life can sample the sweet and savoury treats sold on site. This year, cabinet makers, glass blowers, potters and jewellery designers have been invited to present their creations to the public. If you’d like to give someone a piece of art as a gift, visit the 40 chalets in the artisans square. Various countries are represented in the market as well as the different regions of France. Vendors from Canada, Russia, Norway, Corsica, Provence and Alsace all invite you to try their specialities.

Something for everyone

From 1st to 24th December, Santa Claus settles himself in the Champs-Élysées where he welcomes children to his giant reindeer-drawn sleigh. There are rides to please all ages; traditional carousels, toboggans and a little Christmas train that circles around the alleys to the sound of festive music. Sports lovers will enjoy the ice skating rink which is located just a few steps away at the Grand Palais. Skate among the penguins at the largest temporary skating rink in France (1600m²) or attend the shows organised by professional skaters. If you’d rather get closer to the stars, climb aboard the big wheel at Place de la Concorde and enjoy a breath-taking view of Paris
