The Paris Summer Festival has been offering major artistic and cultural events every year since 2002 throughout the city of Paris and its region. The event is a showcase for a wide range of live music, theatre, dance and even circus performances in various, mostly outdoor, venues, including many places that you wouldn’t expect. This culturally rich, diverse and inclusive festival takes place this year from July 16th to August 4th, 2018, and as usual includes a varied programme spanning all kinds of entertainment, from the popular to the avant-garde.
Paris Beaches; discover the seaside charm of Paris
Over the last 15 years, Paris Plages (Paris Beaches) has become one of the capital's flagship annual events. Every summer, the banks of the Seine most of the attractions of an actual seaside resort. From the Pont de Sully to the Pont Neuf and around the Bassin de la Villette (Quai de Loire) you can enjoy the many benefits of free relaxation and recreation areas as a way of dealing with the summer heat.
