The Galeries Lafayette opens a store on the Champs-Élysées!

The famous Boulevard Haussmann brand is constantly reinventing itself. We thought at first that it was just an unfounded rumour, but no; it’s true… On March 28th, the famous Galeries Lafayette will open a store on the most famous avenue in Paris, the Champs-Elysees! Shopaholics have already marked the date!

A legendary location for the Galeries Lafayette

For their latest location, the Galeries didn’t choose just any address. The brand has taken over the prestigious Art Deco building at numbers 50-52 that formerly housed the Virgin Megastore. This 6,500 m² space will be dedicated to leading fashion brands, haute couture and French and international ready-to-wear, and is situated between exceptional neighbours such as Apple, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Bompard and Guerlain. There’s intense curiosity and excitement as the capital waits for the unveiling of a store that will no doubt quickly become an essential place to shop in Paris!

An even greater level of service

There is less space than in the famous store on the Boulevard Haussmann, but at this new location the Galeries have chosen to offer a shopping experience with a difference and a greater level of service. Indeed, we hear that the brand is training dozens of personal stylists; shopping coaches who will guide customers in a completely personalised way, providing advice and know-how in matters of style and the best way to shop. Finally, it’s also said that a rooftop restaurant will welcome shoppers for a gourmet break that boasts a sublime view of the most beautiful avenue in the world...

The renowned Galeries Lafayette comes to the Champs-Elysees with its prestigious and innovative take on shopping. Book your Compagnie Hotelière de Bagatelle hotel today to be sure of participating in the grand opening on March 28th, 2019!
